Week 17

Our last full week of school before Christmas Break. After our pajama's, pancakes, & Polar Express Party next Wednesday everyone goes home for a THREE WEEK BREAK! How exciting. I know I can't wait for family time, food, and fun! As I mentioned in my last post this week and next will be consumed with assessments and Christmas Fun.

Monday we started this light craft



Only four years old and already their names are written in LIGHTS! Movie stars I tell ya ; - )

 May your day be MERRY & BRIGHT! I must say this took much longer than anticipated and was placed in a horrible location. Being by the door these poor lights have weathered the wind and the rain the past two days... perhaps this is why Jeremiah is missing the M in his name. Oh wait I see it... attached to Niya's name :)

Today we took a trip the Nursing Home in York, Alabama to sing our Christmas songs

We had such a great time visiting with the residents there. I have more pictures but they are on my camera!

If you are wondering why I will be out for 4 days in January this is why....

Still not making sense? ... I am going to Africa for two weeks on a mission trip. I leave the day after Christmas and return January 8, 2001. After telling people this news the second question I usually get is the same as the first, WHY? As I'm sure you know, I love working with kids. More specifically I have a huge passion to work with orphans. This trip is something I've been praying and hoping for, for quite sometime. Finally, the time has arrived.
