Week 12 Wrap Up

Tuesday- We had a change of plans and this week our science day was moved to Tuesday. We also had a police officer come and talk with us about Halloween Safety. And our craft for the day was hand painting wooden  pumpkins that Austin's grandmother picked up for us.

What fun C.W.A.P. brings!

Incase you couldn't tell already.... I piece this post together throughout the entire week. I usually wait to post on Friday's but since tomorrow is our Fall Fest and I know it is going to be CRAZY I am posting today.

Thursday- is music day and I wanted to show you all what the students have been working on. Please give a warm welcome and round of applause for UWA's Campus School K 4 singing The School Rules Blues

This idea of having our school rules as a song was brought about in a faculty meeting a couple of weeks ago and Ms. Poole wasted no time creating the lyrics and tune. We are so thankful to have her on board. Eventually we would like to create a video using this song and our students' as the actors to SHOW us what our school rules look like when we obey them. We wanted to do this so that every morning we can have a morning assemble to set the tone for the day and it helps us implement good behavior in a positive/fun way.

Next post will be full of pictures from FALL FEST! All students are encouraged to wear their costume to school tomorrow.... I can't wait!

Week 11 Summary

Like I said in Monday's post we had a very busy week. We went on our field trip to The Barnyard

So excited about The Barnyard and picking pumpkins

Everyone got to ride this little guy

We bottle fed pigs and goats

Keyanna & Joanna are cousins

Despite the spuratic rain we were able to enjoy our picnic lunch

I think it's safe to say everyone enjoyed the trip

Some were not as sleep as others :)
Wednesday we returned to our normal routine. Also, Mr. Chris, our Physical Education clinical student this semester, stopped by for lesson on hula hooping....

Abby went for 2:00 minutes without stopping! She said Niya taught her :)
