Monday Week 6

Moving right along.... Today is Monday. Today is grandparents day. Today is going to be a GREAT day! The kids are SO excited that their grandparents are coming to school this afternoon.

This week we are learning about maps, jobs (community helpers), and ANTS as well as the number 2 and letter B! Check those mailboxes, you have homework :)  As I said in a previous post I volunteered myself for a group art project. Despite the chaos of it all I'd say it turned out pretty darn cute. I got the idea from this wonderful blog.


Also we learned about family last week. We created family trees

Thanks to my wonderful work studies and clinical students I have a new fall themed bulletin board! I found the ideas for the family trees on Pinterest... if you are not a member you are truly missing out!!!

Here is a picture of the A themed posters made by the students. These will go in their portfolios at the end of the year. They will complete one of these for every letter in the alphabet.
