Week NINE is lookin' FINE

We are almost in the double digits folk's! So glad to be back and blogging again. This week is HOMECOMING WEEK! And we are in the spirit...

Monday: TACKY DAY

Thanks Ms. Jaysa for taking a picture for me :)
 Tuesday: TYE-DYE DAY

Tomorrow will be HAT DAY

Our monthly theme for October will be Shadows... This morning we took a walk outside to see if we could find our shadows.

After that we enjoyed a very special snack made by Dr. Laurie Fowler (technology professor @ UWA).

The most delicious Scarecrow Crunch I've ever had :) After a yummy snack we played with a flashlight in our classroom and made funny shadows.

I want to leave you with something that touched my heart today...

Meet Jasmine, a kindergartner at the Campus School. SHE READ the story SHE WROTE to our class. Things like this melt my heart. These two pictures show me progress, determination, pride, admiration, boldness, and courage. A year from now this could be one of MY students.... I love that.

Stay tuned for more updates on homecoming and October happenings :)
