Week 14 Summary

On Tuesday our Chinese friends came over! This time they taught us more numbers and how to say train, boat, and airplane in their language since we are learning about transportation this week.

Wednesday we were the featured guest for "Walk with Wednesday!" We teamed up with the college students, faculty, and staff for a nice morning walk. We turned it into a run at the end due to rain : / Nonetheless we had a great time. Even Mack was ready for the walk!

On Thursday I was out but Ms. Claire was here to fill in. As always the kids loved having her here. Today we started our Indian shirts for next week and it went surprisingly well. We should finish that up Monday!

Strangely enough our Christmas program will be Monday November 14th at the S.U.B. on campus and our Thanksgiving Day Program will be Thursday November 17th at the Campus School. We will be learning about the letter K, number 11, Thanksgiving, and of course our monthly theme WHEELS! I just realized we only have next week then it's Thanksgiving Break.... This year is flying by.

We also made the cutest turkey craft this week that I will have to post pictures on next week because I forgot :)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Not Your Typical Tuesday

This is definitely NOT what you would see in our classroom on a normal Tuesday however, today was different. We now have a group of foreign exchange students that will come once a month and teacher our kids Chinese. We are beyond thrilled. Today our new friends taught us how to say goodbye/hello/good morning and how to count to five. The kids were a little apprehensive at first but I think they are going to love it.

Here is one of the very few pictures I was able to take last night at the Grandparents Program. It was a TREMENDOUS success so much so we ran out of chairs :-O Yay for grandparents we really do appreciate all that you do. Thanks for coming out!
